The Founders
Dr. Somakanthan Somalingam
Co-founder & CEO
Dr. Somalingam owns an MSc and a PhD in Physics (Applied Optics) from Technical
University of Darmstadt and is the founder and director of TeqBuzz GmbH. His passion is innovation and technology. He has 15+ years of professional experience in R&D, business development and innovation management through his many years of scientific and R&D work
at the IAP in Darmstadt (Institute for Applied Physics), at Nokia GmbH
and others.
Tobias Kehrein
Co-founder & COO
Tobias studied industrial design at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart, Germany. He received his diploma in 2016 through a cooperation project with Daimler AG and since then has been expanding his knowledge in the areas of UI and UX design and discovered his passion for virtual and augmented reality. Already during his studies he founded the company Spotitude UG which also dealt with augmented reality in the educational sector. Afterwards he worked for 3 years as UX designer for AKKA DSW and founded ARtist UG together
with his co-founders.
